Alex Song-Xia is a writer, actor, and comedian in Los Angeles. Alex is a proud alum of NYU sketch team Hammerkatz and improv team Dangerbox. They were a staff writer on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON, HBO’s NIGHT OF TOO MANY STARS, Cartoon Network’s LEGENDARY PLACE, TBS’s IT’S PERSONAL WITH AMY HOGGART, and the MDA Kids Telethon hosted by Kevin Hart and directed by Jonathan Krisel. Alex was also a story editor on Season 7 of RICK & MORTY, as well as an executive story editor on Freeform’s PRAISE PETEY and FX’s LITTLE DEMON. Alex can be seen in season 4 of HBO’s HIGH MAINTENANCE, the Netflix feature THE WEEK OF, directed by Robert Smigel and produced by Happy Madison Productions, and HELPSTERS on Apple TV+. Most recently, Alex was a co-producer on Netflix’s EXPLODING KITTENS. Their short film, REALLY GOOD DRIVER, which they wrote, directed, and starred in with Keiko Agena, was written up on Deadline.
