Alex Song-Xia is a writer, actor, and comedian in Los Angeles. They have written for TV shows including RICK AND MORTY (Adult Swim), THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON (NBC), NIGHT OF TOO MANY STARS (HBO), PRAISE PETEY (Freeform), LITTLE DEMON (FX), and EXPLODING KITTENS (Netflix). As an actor, Alex can be seen in season 4 of HBO’s HIGH MAINTENANCE, the Netflix feature THE WEEK OF, directed by Robert Smigel and produced by Happy Madison Productions, and HELPSTERS on Apple TV+. Most recently, Alex was featured as a stand-up on NETFLIX IS A JOKE: INTRODUCING. Their directorial debut, REALLY GOOD DRIVER, a comedic short about a dysfunctional mother/daughter driving lesson co-starring Keiko Agena, was written up by Deadline.
